During hurricane Ida, Dr. Tamburrino found a way in after his car was disabled in flood waters to perform emergency interventional procedure on patient suffering a massive heart attack.

Dr. Tamburrino treats a patient with Cardiogenic Shock by inserting an Impella device for cardiac support and multi vessel stenting. Despite this patient needed a new heart and recieved a transplant from a Hepatitis C patient, which is now a curable disease. Leading to a larger pool of potential organ donors.

Two local police officers during Covid-19, performed compression only CPR which resuscitated a patient. Once brought to the hospital, Dr. Tamburrino inserted an Impella support device and performed multi vessel stenting. The man awoke three days later and was reunited with his wife and three beautiful children.
